A child who is born during the year qualifies as living with you the whole year. If you have not yet filed go back to the Personal Info section and select edit next to the child's name. Go through the questions until you reach the one asking how long did they live with you and answer the whole year. IF you have filed you will need to amend but do not do this yet....
First you will need
to wait and see if your return is Accepted or
Rejected by the IRS. If the return is Rejected you can go back in and fix the mistake
without amending. If the return is Accepted
you will need to WAIT until you receive
your refund and then Amend.
