Was the 2017 return prepared online? If so, log into your online account. At the Tax Home go to the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents." Expand that section and choose tax year 2017. What is shown for "status" for the Federal return and if applicable, a state return? Does it say accepted, rejected, printed, started, or what?
