I mailed my 2018 K1 (amended tax return) on 04.08.19. According to the IRS's tracking website (https://sa.www4.irs.gov/wmar/login), the IRS received the K1 on 04.12.19.
States right there on the website, and basically everywhere else I've looked, that i can take up to 16-weeks for the IRS to get my K1 processed.\
In this instance (2018 K1), the IRS actually owes ME money (instead of the other way around). We're quickly approaching the 16-week mark (we're about 1 week shy of 16 weeks, as I type this question/message).
What happens if the website doesn't update when the 16-week mark is reached and then surpassed? Is there a live person i can call to say WHERE'S MY FREAKING MONEY, MR.IRS DUDE? Or is there a website or email address where I can get a live person to look me up and tell me what's going on?
I feel quite sure that if i owed them money, they'd have had it processed by now, but since it's them owing, i'm certain they push it to the bottom of the stack, if not toss it into a burn pile! lol.
Can anyone tell me what I should do, when 08.12.19 comes & goes, and the IRS tracking website hasn't updated?
