I have the 2012 tax file (... Tax Return.tax2012) and a backup of the file. I reinstalled the 2012 TurboTax Home & Business from the CD and tried to open the file. I got "Continuing Return" followed by "TurboTax - Error" followed by "searching for solution", which sent me to this site. I tried the backup file with the same result. I tried it by opening (trying to) the file from within the program and by double-clicking the file. Same results. I opened the 2013 return (with the 2012 desktop application) and imported the 2012 data with apparently no errors. I want to see some details about business expense for 2012 and I can't seem to see those details in the 2013 program. Any suggestions? I'm using Windows 10 Home.
