Update: I commented on this post 16 days ago I filed on the 29th, days after recieved the infamous 9001 code. I recieved a 5071C letter today dated for Feb 14th. I tried to ID verify online and it wouldnt take my student loan account number so I called and I am on hold , have been on hold for 10 minutes the wait time is 15-30 so they say. I had EIC and CTC and also had to file a identity theft theft report with the FTC late last year due to speeding tickets and a misdemeanor charge (maybe that could be the reason Im not sure)! I know one thing for certain...Im sick of the anxiety ..If not required by law I will not file next year Im sick of this shit! I will update after I speak with someone. This will be my first time calling the IRS this entire tax season! Good luck to all
