I woke up to my money as pending deposit after TD begged me basically to deposit with them and even offering 50 bucks for checks over 5k deposited in their bank. I called and got the..".oh we make it available to trade but cash takes 4 days" I said "Ok let me speak to your manager"....Some guy with a crackly voice came on and I said "I need your manager" Uhhhh sir I can help you and I said "Trust me....I am doing you a favor asking for your manager...as I am a pissed off hornet ready to sting" Some lady gets on as the Banking something something manager and I immediately asked if she had ability to lift a hold. I quoted the lines from the link below and she went away for 5 mins and came back "Sir, I need to call you back in 45 mins as the back operations center opens at 8 central time and although I can approve this, they have to push the buttons ". i am waiting for call back at 9 est. Do NOT LET THEM PULL THIS CRAPOLA on you as they have access to the interest from it immediately!!!! I worked for Harland check company for years and dealt with big banks for a long time. I know that there is always someone with the power to override an internal policy of the bank. Point being....do not take no for an answer as the person answering front line is typically a very new employee that is given a script (Sound familiar....IRS ha ha) and they weed out the calls without even knowing it. My wife would just say "ok...i will wait" as she is non confrontational.
