If I were you I would NOT dig to deep and Alert anyone.... just wait to see what gets deposited( even tho it shows an offset Many never get it deducted unless it's a FEDERAL offset) Federal offsets happen Quick, Fast and in a Hurry! lol Don't Bank on it but know it's a Strong possibility. It's kinda like when someone is told, " You owe $$$ you can pay now or next time" Most choose Next Time! Lol Other agency's can't just Take Your money but they Definitely can put in a Claim. Federal related debts need No Claim at all because it's already under your SS# the moment you default.
