I hope this helps someone dealing with a return. I filed early this year 1/14/19 trying to prevent fraud which was recommended by a tax professional. I received a bar the next day 1/15/19 saying :Received. Weeks passed, No letter, No Nothing. I decided to call around 2/12/19 No extra info was given. At this point I'm convinced the IRS is paid to LIE! I checked my WMR & it still said pending. Around 3/15/19 I contacted IRS again. NO info given. I was advised to get a TAX ADVOCATE SO...I did. Come to find out I forgot to claim my unemployment that I received (less than $200) All this BS holding up my refund when the IRS could have just told me that. Instead I had to get a TAX ADVOCATE (waist of f***'n) time. So as of today, I did my ammended return on 5/12/19 & it says: Received. Now, The 6 week waiting game. Hope I get it sooner.
