My refund is supposed to be send to my bank via direct deposit today on 2/23/17. I noticed before hand that the bank information was incorrect. I called and spoke to the IRS and told them. They informed me that the bank will reject my refund and I will then have to wait 24 hours for the IRS to receive my refund back from the bank then give the IRS a call back and they can verify and send out a check. The representative told me that I should get it no later than 3 weeks as a check in the mail.
Bigguccite if you mail in your refund the processing time takes 6-8 weeks from the date the IRS receives your tax refund.
