@laddidles Wow. That's absolutely ridiculous. I will also keep track of badge numbers.
The Taxpayer advocate line told me that the answers are different because it depends on the person and how helpful they want to be. 2 times I called and  these 2 very nice ladies did alot of research and gave me the info, the other 2 times i guess the people were just bad at their jobs/not good at researching the codes.
I'm hoping that the issue being escalated today will make it faster. If the 30 days pass and I still don't have a refund i'm going to raise hell in any way i can. Thankfully I don't need the money right away to survive but i can imagine how much more frustrated people who NEED the money would be.
