After you file
@meganjacobs72 you just Google a TA and it'll give you an 800 number. You just follow the prompts from there..but you have to be in extreme economic hardship to qualify. Just b.c you're broke doesn't mean you will qualify. Believe me I thought I'd qualify too.. But at the end of the call if they deem you do in fact qualify, or at least you are just suffering from not being able to pay for bills [which is also kind of like a form of qualifying..that's what they were going to do for me if this makes any sense..]then they will give you a I.d number.. then they will transfer you to someone who will decide if they will accept your already qualified case. Lol.. And that's as far as I got bc I kept getting hung up on. Hope this helps.
Also I called the irs out of the blue earlier this morning and I was jumping for joy. After 4 months of waiting they finally took me off the hold!! I don't have any bars yet on WMR or a DDD but I do know that that will be the next step that I see.. I was told I will get my money within 2-4 weeks. At this point I'm just glad that my little girl Who is almost 1yr old will have a good first birthday! I am hoping everyone starts seeing some activity soon! And the other question I saw was how to get a referral. You have to be past the initial 60 days, then 45 for the review and if you are for both, you call the irs and have them email the reviewing dept. But that would then give you another wait of up to 60 days. I did that 2 weeks ago and now my hold is NO MORE! It's been frustrating but there is light. You have to be paid..unless you fraudulently did your taxes...lol..then you are screwed!
