To delete the incorrect w-2:
- Click Federal > Wages & Income
- On the Your Income screen, click Edit next to Job (W-2).
- On the Here's Your W-2 Information screen, click the trash can next to the W-2 you would like to delete
To enter the 1098-T:
- Go to Tax Tools > Tools > Topic Search (bottom-left of page)
- Type 1098-t in the search box and then click GO.
- Answer Yes to Do you want to enter your higher education expenses?
- Proceed through the interview until you get to Did You get a 1098-T from school for 2017?
- Answer Yes.
- Proceed through the interview to enter your 1098t information.
- You will eventually reach the Now Let's Gather Your Additional Education Expenses screen. Click Continue.
- Proceed through the interview to enter your expenses.
