My taxes were accepted on the 29th and my bars was good. Close to my 21 days my bars disappeared. I called the IRS on the 22 of February. I told them that my taxes did not go into my bank and my status is saying still processing. I was told to wait until February 27th. I waited and my status still was processing. On February 29th I called and the IRS said that a letter was sent out to my physical address on the February 16th. A member from my family threw my IRS mail into the trash and I didn’t get to read the letter. I called up the IRS and they said the letter that was mailed out stated that I was under review and should receive my refund in 45 days and I can expect my refund by March 29th. I called on March 29th and still no refund. They told me that I had to wait 60 days starting from February 26 and I should expect my refund on April 27th. The IRS Rep also told me if my refund is still processing after the expected date than expect to receive a letter asking for additional items. I have prepared 2 people’s taxes after mines and they got their money fast. My Family member just got his in March and we were waiting around the same time.
