The delay may be due to identity. If you changed addresses or moved out of state you can expect a delay and verification which means you will have to prove you were the person filing the taxes. I was one of many who had to show proof and if you had dependent's it could take up to 9 weeks. I also had to verify my state identification. I had to take my ID, SS card and proof of Address as well as a copy of a power bill or a bank statement. I hope this helps. I also be the letters that were sent out almost 3 weeks after filing. But call the IRS and the State to find out your process they are able to tell you whats happening with your taxes which is better than checking the wheres my refund.
