There is a time limit to file an original or amended tax return to get a refund. That time limit is 3 years from the original due date of the return. Until April, 2017, you can file an original or amended return for a refund for 2015, 2014, and 2013. Returns for 2012 and earlier are beyond the time limit.
Turbotax Online works only for current year (2016) taxes, and not for any other year.
If you want to use TurboTax for any other year you will need to purchase the Desktop Version for each year that you need to file. You can do that at this link:
