You will need to need to print the amended return Form 1040X and mail it to the IRS at the address in the filing instructions that print when you print your return.

After you finish amending, TurboTax will walk you through the printing process and provide the address to mail the amendment, along with any required forms and attachments.
Follow the instructions below to print an amended return.
- Open the amended tax return that needs to be printed.
- Click the Review tab along the top of the screen.
- Step through the interview until you come to the page that says "Print and Mail your returns.”
If you have already amended your return and you are having a hard time locating the 1040X, try using the Tools option and select Topic Search. Type in 1040X and you should be able to navigate back to the area where you can print this form.
You should also be able to select My Account (online version only) and then Print Center, and select the 1040-X for printing.
