Trying to find out the same information - this question appears to be asked a number of times, with different answers each time. Some say send in the 1040 because it has changed. Some say send in only 1040x and others say attach w2's, 1099's etc to the 1040x and send that in. Does anyone know for sure (or does anyone know what happens if you send in forms that they do not actually need)?
