The Online and Desktop products are two separate products. They do not 'talk' to one another and the information you entered on your desktop will not appear in the Online program. After you've purchased a downloadable
product through TurboTax.com, you can download it whenever you like up to 3
years after purchase. So you can download again to another computer if you'd like to continue to use the desktop program. Please see this FAQ

If you wish to use the Online program and receive a credit for your Desktop purchase you will need to contact Customer Support. For security reasons we
are unable to process refunds through this public forum.
