Once your Federal return has been accepted please, wait 24 hours before looking it up at Where's My Refund? (the IRS will give you a deposit date after entering some of your tax information). Sometimes it may take a little longer to show up in their system. The IRS states that
most refunds are received within 21 days from the time a return has been accepted and a refund
option is selected. However, refunds claiming EITC and ACTC-related
returns will be on hold until Mid-February.
