If you choose to file without itemizing deductions you can simply go back and delete some of your deductions to lower the amount. TurboTax would then use your standard deduction.
Sign into your TurboTax account (online)
Select the Federal tab in the black navigation panel on the left
Select Deductions & Credits
Scroll to select a category > Add/Update
Delete any or all of the deductions entered (use the trashcan next to an item)
