Take a look at the bottom section of the 1040X. Line 18 will show the refund from your original return, line 20 will show any amount you owe from the amended return, and line 22 will show any additional refund you're due from the amended return (above & beyond line 18).
So it sounds like your line 18 shows $1039 and your line 22 shows $179. If you haven't received the $1039 yet, you will. And then -- most likely separately -- you'll receive the $179, for a grand total of $1218.
