Hello, My husband and I got married in 9/16. He is a German citizen and received his temporary work permit in 1/17. Throughout all of 2016, he was on an O-1 visa and earned income as resident alien. My question is, does he have to submit an information about his foreign bank account as part of our joint (married) filing. He earned no income from Germany in 2016.
