First of all check to see that the 1040X is a 2015 form. The 2015 1040X is not supposed to be final until Feb. 11. If your form is not the final 2015 form is probably has do not file across the form. If so, you need to wait until Feb. 11 to finalize your amended return and print it again.
You only need to mail the form 1040X and any schedules other than form 1040 that changed when you amended the return. For example, if you added mortgage interest, you would need to include Schedule A. If you added W-2s or 1099-Rs with federal withholding, the federal copy of those needs to be mailed with your amended return.
