You can order a tax transcript from the IRS for 2014 as proof that the return was filed. Please ask the lender if a transcript is acceptable; some lenders require an actual copy of the return. You can fill out the form to order copies of returns and transcripts by going to Federal Taxes>Other Tax Situations>Request a copy of a tax form.
