After you file

If you have NOT already filed, you can change how you receive your refund by doing the following:

  • Log into your online account; click on Take Me to My Return if it doesn't come up automatically.
  • Click on the File tab at the end of your tax timeline
  • There are three steps listed. Click on Start/Revisit next to Step 2
  • (*Please note that if you have selected to have your payment taken out of your refund, you won't be able to receive a refund check. You will first need to go back to Step 1 and change your payment option to Pay With Card and then go back to Step 2)
  • After clicking Start/Revisit, you can change your selection to in the mail to receive a refund check
