The steps to amend are as follows:
1. From your online TurboTax timeline after signing in, Go to your Previous years on left-hand side.
2. From this screen choose 2015 first
3. Look below the dates and you will see the first option is to Amend
4. Follow the prompts and instructions so you will be able to Amend your 2015 return
5. You will need to mail your Amendment to both the Federal and State(s) that need to be amended (The IRS and most states do not accept e-filed amendments. TurboTax also walks you through this process.
After completing 2015 Amendment, you can follow the steps above to complete your 2016 Amendment.
Then you will be able to start your 2017 TurboTax return with amended information from the previous years.
