I accidentally filed my 2017 W2 on my 2018 return. I was placed on a 45 day review starting 3/4 and just realized what I did yesterday. So I called the IRS and the lady told me I would need to amend. Do I wait until my review is over to amend or do it now? And would the IRS fix the issue internally during the 45 day review process?
