If the information you entered on
your tax return for direct deposit was incorrect, it cannot be changed after
the tax return has been filed. When the IRS and/or your state attempts to
deposit the refund and the bank rejects the refund, then the IRS and/or your
state will mail a check for the refund to the address entered on the tax
return.
