since you say FICA, Medicare and State Health taxes were deducted you're going to get a w-2 for 2022 early in 2023 for the gross amount. (not sure if state health tax will be included in wages box 1). I can see no other scenario where it would be proper for these deductions. the best way to check this is to contact your former employer.
