if you were sick for 10 days and only listed 8 dates, then you received less benefit than you were entitled to. Whether the error is fixed is up to you; the IRS won't care since you are asking for less benefit than you are entitled to.
Same thing on family leave, if you were eligible for 50 days of family leave and only listed 30 dates, then you received less benefit than you were entitled to. Whether the error is fixed is up to you; the IRS won't care since you are asking for less benefit than you were entitled to.
Now, if was the opposite, let's say you were only sick for 8 days and reported 10 dates, that would be cheating (i.e. 'fraud') and the IRS would expect you to correct that error as you would have received money you weren't entitled to.
