@Mot2 - it may not matter - depends on the benefit you were seeking as this COVID benefit was rather complicated.

there were two benefits, but one was only a 10 days benefit, so the fact that you stated you were sick for 25 or even 30 days wouldn't change the result.  The benefit would have been calculated on 10 days in any event; nothing further to do and no need to correct.

Was this the sick leave credit (10 days) or the family leave credit (60 days)

Sick leave credit: Taxpayer unable to work because

•Taxpayer was a) subject to Federal, State, or local quarantine or b) advised by health care provider to self-quarantine or c) symptomatic and seeking medical diagnosis

or

•d) Taxpayer cared for someone subject to a) or b) above or e) cared for their child because school closed, place of care closed, or care provider not available

•Benefit is up to 10 days of work lost between January 1, 2021 and September 30, 2021.

Family leave credit: Unable to work because

•Caring for their child because school closed, place of care closed, or care provider not available

•Up to 60 days of work lost between January 1, 2021 and September 30, 2021
