Hi @sistarrock, it is possible that you will still need to file once you retire depending on your income. You may still owe taxes if you receive income, such as retirement income from a job or investment income. Social Security benefits can become taxable based on any other income you may have, so the answer is yes you may need to possibly file after retirement. You may also check your state tax laws and see what the minimum filing requirements are for that state.
