Hello!
I've been reaching out and trying to get a response for hours over days, to nothing but robot voices from both the IRS and TurboTax so I'm really just hoping a real person will reply to this.
I filed my taxes through TurboTax on 4/13 and got the "Federal E-File Accepted on 4/15". Now I haven't gotten a refund yet, so I asked the internet who told me to check out my tax transcript. The transcript says "On June 27, 2022, we recieved a request for verification of non-filing of a tax return. As of the date of this letter, we have no record of a processed tax return for the tax period listed above. If you have any questions you can [call our robots at]...".
I wasn't freaking out too much before considering these things get delayed all the time, but now I'm coming up on 80 days post filing for direct deposit refund and I'm seeing evidence that the IRS maybe didn't even get my taxes for this year despite the TurboTax website showing my federal taxes as accepted.
Do I need to do anything more? What's going on with my refund?
Please, I just want a real person to give me a real answer here. Thank you.
