I expect that you received a 1099-MISC, and yes, you will have to pay taxes on it.

- Scroll to Other Common Income
- Select Income from a 1099-MISC
- Post your information
- Under Source of 1099-MISC Income
- Select Nonbusiness income from rental of personal property or equipment
- Continue to the end.
