To type in your 1099-R (rather than importing), please follow the instructions below:
- Open your return.
- Search 1099-R with the magnifying glass tool.
- Select the Jump to 1099-R link at the top of the search results.
- On the page Let's import your tax info, click Change how I enter my form.
- On the page How do you want to enter your 1099‑R?, click Type it in myself.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
