Hi, I have the same issue. My non-resident spouse works abroad and we want to file marriage join filing. However, we are struggling as follows:
- We don't know which box in 1040 to report foreign income tax since there is no W2.
- Does she qualify for foreign earned income exclusion (form 1555) . From the reading, it seems eligible
Please help advise.
