I'm using the desktop download version and in reviewing my printed returns, I see there is no checkmark on Schedule D Line 22. I do have both capital gains and qualified dividends, and last year the software placed an automatic checkmark on the Schedule D Line 22 that said "yes" for "I have qualified dividends on Form 1040, Line 3a." Since TurboTax didn't automatically put a checkmark there this year, I went to look at forms view, and it wouldn't allow me to manually place a checkmark there. However, TurboTax does figure my tax on the capital gain/qualified dividend worksheet, so I guess all is well in spite of that.
The error check is OK so I guess it's not significant that the D Line 22 is not answered. I just found it odd that TurboTax made the entry last year but not this year, and won't let me do it either.
