Your post is off base because it implies you can get the forms to be mailed out of your tax return PDF file.
Other than Form 8453 (a cover sheet), that's not the case.
I should have just left it at that.
I apologize, if the word misleading has such a negative connotation to you.
There's really no pretty way of putting it.
