To get to the screen where you can enter Sales total, you need to start anew, meaning you can't edit or review transactions you have already entered. Instead, from the Income & Expenses page (TurboTax online), follow these steps:
- Select Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, etc.,
- from the screen Your investment sales summary,
- select Add more sales,
- then select your investment type,
- select Continue, then select I'll type it myself,
- enter your brokerage information,
- then respond to the questions about your sales,
- on the screen Now, choose how to enter your sales, you will have the option to enter a Sales section total,
- you will probably need to go back and delete a previous entry if it is no longer needed.
