Carl, thanks for your reply. Running as administrator did not change the behavior. After filling out the "Keep up to date..." window, which I gather is the registration form, TT says it sent the registration, then exits. Restarting again as admin brought up the registration window again.
I'm running Windows 10 v1809 (OS Build 17763.195).
