No, it does not have to be entered the following year if you don't have a 1099-NEC. Delete the form that is not needed:
- Open your return
- Go to Tax Tools >> Tools to open the Tools Center
- Click on Delete a form
- Scroll down the list of forms
- Click on Delete next to the 1099-NEC form that is not needed.
