Why do I keep buying this POS turbotax app?
So I am all done. Tomorrow is filing day (the 18th) taxes are all cleared by TT app . . Reviewed and smart check all that . . . TT takes me to eFile ... takes my money for eFile . . . Payment cleared . . I select transmit and the payment window disappears and and it looks like I'm all done and can close the app . . . TT asks if I want to print a copy for my records (I don't) I hit continue . . .TT pops up with a problem on one of the forms WTF???? seriously???? I thought I was done and my taxes were just eFiled. Why would TT ask me if I want to print my forms if there was a problem and why were they eFiled if there was a problem. There was no message stating can't transmit (even though we told you all was reviewed and good already.
We are over 60 years old and have NEVER filed for a child tax credit but TT now thinks we should check the entry . . which is auto-filled 0 - ZERO. WTF???? So I type in the zero again TT again prompts me to transmit and I do and I get into this endless circle of TT telling me its all good and the error popup about the amount of the child tax credit is wrong. Every year this program screws up in one way or another.
