Get your taxes done using TurboTax
On 4/17/2022 I will submit my tax return as you suggested. I will enter $0 for my AGI (see, once again you fail to qualify the the crux of the situatiuon, If I enter $0 for my AGI what do I enter for my spouses AGI??) Your answers are incomplete. You speak from a position of knowledge to a clientel that unfortunatley NEEDS you to communicate to us.... we are in a a position of ignorance. We don't know. That's why your here. So, If my tax return is rejected I will submit with an entry of $1 for my AGI and 1$ for my Spouse. So The following are the possibilities available:
Spouse AGI and MY AGI are Equal
Spouse AGI=0, My AGI + $(Amount)
My AGI=$0, Spouse AGI=??? (your suggestion)
My AGI =$1, Spouse AGI=??? (your suggestion)
Remember, I can submit as many attempts as you suggest. Just as long as my printed return is postmarked before midnight on 4/18/2022. Frankly, I think e-file is making turbotax look bad. It's got to go through them before it gets to the IRS. Maybe you should give them a call??!
I just now 8:39 PM 4/16/2022 submitted a third return. Per your suggestion $0 for both me and my spouse. Stay tuned!
