Yes, you can.
To do that in TurboTax:
- Select Federal.
- Click on Other Tax Situations toward the upper right corner.
- Expand the list and find Additional Tax Payments, expand the section.
- Find Apply Refund to Next Year click Start or Revisit to the right.
- Select Apply all or part of it toward next year's tax bill.
- Click Continue and enter the amount you want to apply to next year.
- The balance will be refunded to you.
