I just tested this and I didn't get an error. Try reviewing the state abbreviation and zip code in the 1099-R section.
One thing I noticed is that when you enter MA, the program defaults to Maine, so make sure it says Massachusetts. Also be sure to type 02206, not just 2206.
To review your 1099-R form:
- Open your return and make sure you are in the Federal section.
- Select Income from the upper left.
- Find IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), on the list, click Start or Review to the right.
- Click Edit to the right of your 1099-R entry.
- Continue until you get to the screen Enter your 1099-R details from State Street.
- Check the zip code and state abbreviation here.
