I just discovered that the instructions for the 1041 say that the checkbox on line F ("Change in fiduciary's address") should be checked if the fiduciary "didn't report the change on Form 8822-B". If I'd seen this earlier, I might have read that to mean that once I mailed the 8822-B, the line F checkmark isn't needed. So I could have unchecked the box on the "Here's Your Summary" page in TT that says "This information is different than what was reported on last year's return", which would have avoided this discussion.
On the other hand, since the 8822-B has to be sent on paper, if it's sent close to the filing date, the IRS may process the return before they receive and process the 8822-B. So maybe it's still a good idea to make sure line F is checked.
