No, my 2021 income is over $4,300. It's slightly under $12,000 (less than the standard deduction amount). So, it appears that my parents can NOT claim me as a dependent.
My question (and wishful thinking) was if I could keep $1,400 stimulus check, *and* at the same time, help my parents by being a dependent on their tax return. Well, I tried... 🙂
