Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Thank you Mike, I was able to find it and see that it indeed did offset over $7000 in owed federal taxes this year. I am not used to oweing and saw the very tiny refund so I didn't think it already included an over $8K FICA refund ;0
The second thing was for my NY FPL payments, medicare had nothing to do with either issue. I found a better explanation earlier today but a quick google got me this for now:
"What is NY PFL deduction?
New York Paid Family Leave is insurance that may be funded by employees through payroll deductions. In 2021, the contribution is 0.511% of an employee's gross wages each pay period. The maximum annual contribution is $385.34."
I had $385.34 deducted for both employers (one I worked at from January to mid/late-June and the other from then until end of year)
