I filed a joint tax return recently with my wife and entered same AGI for both; however, my tax return got rejected due to "The spouse's AGI or Self-select PIN from last year doesn't match IRS records".  what can I do? any help?

If you filed a joint return for 2020, then normally you would enter the same total 2020 AGI for each of you, as you did.   But that doesn't always work, as you experienced.    It's not clear why it didn't work for the spouse, but sometimes it doesn't.   The IRS must think your AGI is correct, but not the spouse's.  The following is how that is often solved:

Try using the correct total 2020 AGI for yourself, and for the spouse use an AGI of 0 (zero.)   Several folks with joint returns whose spouse AGI was rejected say that worked for them.     If that doesn't work, report back.
