Is it just me or does it seem like TurboTax just glossed over several important clarifications this year? Why on Earth would it not just say what to do right in the software? Does the number on the letter(s) match? No, the number the software shows does not match the number shown on my letter(s). Would it have killed them to say "If you received more than one letter, use the total from all letters"? Instead of TurboTax giving CLEAR instructions, we get 11 pages of people going back and forth asking about what they should do; and the answers all come from "contributors" who may or may not be experts. I can see where users see the information given and assume their total doesn't match and enter the total that shows on the letter; especially since the number on each letter is the same. While it's nice that we have the community as a reference, but this year's software is ridiculously incompetent compared to previous iterations.
